The Power and Nature of Singularity
The Definition I found that struck
a chord of meaning with me was this:
a point of infinite density and temperature,
derived from the concept that if we could view our Universe going backwards in time,
every galaxy will eventually crush into some singular point. The time of this event
is known as the Big Bang epoch.
The Power of Singularity.
One
Indivisible, indivisible,
the beginning point… without which you have zero, and anything beyond is not possible
without the beginning one.
In the Beginning,
God created the Heavens and the Earth.
He
is the Big Bang.
He Spoke and Bang... There is was....
John said it this way...
In the
Beginning was the Word....
Singularity
Echoing from his place in eternity... The point
of origin of the Universe echoed into a place....
God said...
Let there be....
And there
was.
Singularity
Singularity -
The Cornerstone of the Jewish Faith rested upon
this premise and principle. One God served by the whole person.
Deuteronomy 6:4-
(4) Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
(5) And thou shalt love the LORD
thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Singularity.
There
is but One God.
Not Two. Not Three. Not Nine. Not millions. One God.
Throughout the
dealing of God with Man we always hear one voice that demonstrates the Nature of
God.
From the Garden speaking to Adam we see this idea of Singularity, or Oneness.
There
is But One God… and God desired that Man would serve him with the all of himself.
“Hear,
O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with
all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
There is a powerful
understanding when we understand that All that is made was made by God. Not some
nameless unknowable God…. But a God who expresses himself in not only in the world
around us, or the conscience inside of us, but we have his word given to us.
Let me
make it simple for you today.
There is but one God and that God that created everything
is Manifested and Demonstrated in the Man Christ Jesus.
All that God ever was or ever
will be was personified in the Person of Jesus Christ.
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our
God is one LORD:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy might.
His disciples struggled with the Nature of God
and did not always understand… Philip asked Jesus,
John 14:8-
(8) Philip saith
unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
(9) Jesus saith unto him,
Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that
hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
(10)
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that
I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth
the works.
(11) Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else
believe me for the very works' sake.
It is important to understand the Nature of God….
God
is a Spirit.
God is not a Man.
God is not a Tree.
God is not a Mountain.
God is not the
Sun that shines in the sky.
God is not the Moon glistens in the night.
But God is a
Spirit.
And a Spirit hath not flesh and blood. A Spirit.
When The prophets saw God
in their heavenly Visions, they saw One…. With many traits and many attributes… but
they Saw God.
Revelation 4:2-
(2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold,
a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
(3) And he that sat was to
look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about
the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
(4) And round about the throne were four
and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed
in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
(5) And out of the throne
proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire
burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
(6) And before the
throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne,
and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Jesus
said of himself to John in the Book of Revelation,
Revelation 1:8 KJV
(8) I am Alpha
and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was,
and which is to come, the Almighty.
Many struggle with inferred meanings, but when
the Word of God speaks for God and God speaks for himself he points us to the power
of One.
1 Timothy 3:16
(16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached
unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Jesus is not
in the Godhead…. But the Godhead is in Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV
(19) To wit, that
God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Everything that
God is, was or ever will be was manifested in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Colossians
2:8-
(8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after
the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
(9)
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
(10) And ye are complete
in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
(11) In whom also ye are
circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of
the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
(12) Buried with him in baptism,
wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who
hath raised him from the dead.
Singularity.
The Foundational Premise of Biblical Christianity
is this idea of Singularity.
All that God is was in Jesus Christ. All that we are
we should serve him.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify
you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless
unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is not a Doctrinal Anomaly, but it
is the Thread of truth sewed throughout its pages.
You don’t need to read a theology
book to perceive its truth.
Jesus Christ is God.

Jesus Christ is the Lord. The
Lord Jesus Christ.

The Foundational
Conclusion of Peters Message to the Jews at the Birth of the Church was this.
This
Conclusion caused them to cry out.
Acts 2:36 KJV
(36) Therefore let all the house of
Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
both Lord and Christ.
Jesus is both Lord and Christ.
To See... that Jesus is more than
the Christ... But he is the Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ is a Bold Proclamation of
the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:19 KJV
(19) For it pleased the Father that
in him should all fulness dwell;
Jesus was the Begotten Son of God.
Hebrews 1:1-

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers
by the prophets,
(2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath
appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
(3) Who being the brightness
of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the
word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right
hand of the Majesty on high;

Perhaps from the base of

Jesus
is the Prophetic Fulfillment of all the Messianic Scriptures.
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
(6) For
unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon
his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
And When those scriptures were fulfilled…
we see something interesting.
John in the first chapter said it this way.
John 1:18

(18) No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the
bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
The Gospel is the Saving Message of God
that we hear and see through Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:3-
(3) But if our gospel
be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded
the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves,
but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) For God,
who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give
the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
When you
See Jesus….
You See the Form of God.
You see the Image of God.
You see the Person of
God.
Jesus Christ is Lord.
The Glory of God is seen in the Face of Jesus Christ.
Jesus
was Fully Man.
Jesus was Fully God.
Those who believe that Jesus was just a spirit.

(2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth
that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
(3) And every spirit that confesseth
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit
of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is

All that God ever
was… was in Jesus Christ.
If I were to walk to the Ocean and place a Cup into the
ocean and Hold up the Cup and ask…
Is the Ocean in this Cup?
The answer would be yes.
But
all the ocean is not in the cup….
But all the ocean is… is in the Cup.
Jesus Christ
was a Revelation of All that God was to Lost Humanity.
Everything you need to know
about God… you can learn and understand and perceive by Jesus Christ.
The Only way
to the Father is through Jesus Christ.
The Only way to See the Father is in the Person
of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was a revelation of God.
Body, Soul, Spirit
Name, Nature, Number.
Everything
that God wanted us to Know about him he reveals in Jesus Christ.
Singularity!
